Neodyme Australia was delivering a highly skilled work in January 2015 in New Caledonia, participating in the inspection of all the electrical equipment for the Vale New Caledonia’s plant. It was a new challenge for the team, torn between operational availability of the equipment and a legal framework to comply with. The add value of Neodyme Australia was to organise the process, set up the tools and train the inspectors. Preparing everything so the inspections to be performed smoothly and effectively.
An area of expertise that could also be used in Australia where Standards border the inspection of such equipment (AS/NZS 60079.17:2009 Explosive atmospheres - electrical installations inspection and maintenance).
A local recognition of our skills, ISM-Atex Accreditation, is currently ongoing and our team would be pleased to assist in that area of expertise.
